Verified status correction
The primary announcement from Clari + Salesloft is dated 5 March 2026, and identifies the gradual Drift sunset and partnership with 1mind. The previous 6 March date has been corrected. We do not infer a specific shutdown deadline, preserved feature set or automatically transferred contract from that announcement.
What existing customers should check
Ask the account team for the supported service end date, data-export procedure, redirect or widget changes and migration responsibilities in writing. Inventory chat entry points, lead routing, CRM fields, consent notices and reporting before moving anything. Test a migrated conversation that qualifies a lead, one that needs human help and one that should not collect personal details. Confirm that each reaches the intended destination. These are transition checks, not a migration we conducted.
Pricing and alternatives
Do not base a new purchase on an old Drift list price or assume an announced replacement has equivalent commercial terms. Request the actual migration proposal, including included work, usage limits, renewal and exit terms. Compare it with other conversational or sales products by the tasks you need to retain. An exclusive partnership announcement is not evidence of a universal quality or cost advantage.
Verdict
For a new deployment, first evaluate a currently supported product with a clear roadmap and contract. For an existing deployment, prioritise continuity, exportability and a tested handover. We have removed the unsupported numeric product rating: it adds little to a decision dominated by service status and migration evidence. Retain this page as a sourced historical/transition guide rather than presenting Drift as an unchanged current recommendation.
